Air Zoo Field Trip

We went to the Air Zoo, a museum of planes and air travel(nothing to do with animals), with our homeschool group.
I was quite impressed with the place. And we used to live in the Air Capital (Wichita, KS) and have been to air and space museums, but this was right on par with those!

I think my favorite part was this mural. It is the world's largest mural. Wraps all the way around the place.

We had a docent to tell us about the planes.
The back end of a Black Bird trainer. It is really cool for us, because we've seen a Black Bird at the Kansas Cosmosphere and now see the only existing trainer left out of the two there were!

There were even rides, but we only paid for one each. Malachi chose a simulator, these 3 rode the balloons.
