Gem Factory in Shelby, MI

After the Asparagus festival, and while we were in Shelby, we thought we'd check out the Gem Factory. They make gems right there! They have a neat lobby that tells about how they do it and have some demonstrations of it. Unfortunately, their documentary movie is evolutionary based. If they can make gems fast, don't they think God can? Duh!
The boys tried this facet cutter.
Yeah, well, still can't afford them. Pretty though. :-)
