Sadie's princess castle cake. Turned out pretty cool. Saw it in a magazine.
We made "princess diaries." We had fancy papers and stickers that we glued onto the top of a little memo notebook.
Then the girls picked some curling ribbon to affix to the top of a shiny pencil as their scepter to go with their diary.
It was a hit!
Oh these girls!
"Yum! Cake!"
Sadie took quite a while to get this candle out! In fact, Cosy got impatient and blew it out for her, which we told them doesn't count, so we lit it again. One candle! That is all it was, but her little lips just couldn't get aimed right! It was hilarious!
Sadie had picked out root beer to drink for the party. One little girl honestly told me that her mom doesn't want her to drink pop, and I asked her if I should just get her some water and she said yes! How precious! The girl next to her said the same thing after hearing this response from me to the first girl. I think she more wanted the attention! I mentioned it to their moms and they just laughed, saying for a special occasion it would have been fine. That is what I had figured, our rule is the same. But I didn't want to get anyone in trouble!
I think Sadie could have fit into that big old purple bag from one of her friends! It had a cool art set in it.
After presents, the girls went downstairs and got into the dress up stuff. What a pretty group of princesses! I was very impressed with them all too, they didn't fight over costumes or shoes or anything. They all shared and made sure that everyone had enough costume on!
Girl's parties are SO different from boy's parties! Girls are so different from boys! But, I think we need to spend billions of more dollars to do another study to figure that out for sure...... (sarcasm font needed here.)
