Fishtown
Just a little farther up M-22, we stopped at Leland, and stumbled upon this cool place-Fishtown!
I made this pic bigger so you could see what this really is. They made bathrooms from this freight box or whatever it was! It really was restrooms too. A step up from port-o-potties I guess.
We were surprised to see salmon trying to swim upstream here! It was fascinating to see them try to jump up the dam, but then they'd lose the battle and slide back down.
Big anchors
Had to get at least a picture with the road sign. It is the scenic highway that we'd been traveling. Didn't do it all, but did quite a bit! Michigan is sure beautiful!
Our final stop on the way back home was to eat pizza at our favorite pizza joint in Cadillac. What a beautiful view of the sunset.
